COSCO SHIPPING Energy: EGM Approves He Bin as New Non-Executive Director; Wang Wei Steps Down and Audit Committee Reshuffled

COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. held an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 1 September 2026 in Shanghai, where shareholders approved all proposed resolutions by poll.

The sole ordinary resolution—electing Mr. He Bin as a non-executive director—secured 91.76% support, with 2.66 billion shares voted in favour and 0.24 billion shares against. Total voting participation reached 2.90 billion shares, representing 52.96% of the company’s 5.47 billion issued shares. Attendance comprised 897 shareholders and proxies, including 895 A-share and 2 H-share participants.

Mr. He Bin’s directorship is effective immediately and will run until the end of the current Board term. Concurrently, Mr. Wang Wei resigned from his roles as non-executive director and Audit Committee member due to work adjustments, stating no disagreement with the Board.

Following these changes, the Audit Committee now consists of: • Li Kin Fai (Chairman) • Chen Gang • He Bin

The meeting’s vote-counting was independently scrutinised by BDO Limited, Certified Public Accountants (Practising).
