Alphamab Oncology Launches HK$80.00 Million On-Market Share Repurchase Plan

Bulletin Express
Aug 28

Alphamab Oncology has approved an on-market share repurchase program of up to HK$80.00 million, aiming to buy back ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The decision, resolved by the Board on 28 August 2026, will be executed under the general mandate granted at the Company’s AGM on 12 June 2026. The mandate remains effective until the earlier of the next AGM, the statutory deadline for holding that meeting, or any earlier revocation or variation by shareholders.

Key parameters: • Funding: Existing cash resources; no external financing required. • Pricing cap: Repurchase price may not exceed the average closing price of the five preceding trading days by more than 5%. • Disposition of shares: Repurchased shares may be cancelled or held as treasury stock, subject to market conditions and capital management needs.

Management rationale: The Board believes the current trading price understates the Company’s intrinsic value and that the program underscores confidence in Alphamab Oncology’s business outlook while potentially enhancing shareholder value.

Implementation status: No shares have yet been repurchased. Execution timing, quantity and pricing will depend on market conditions and remain at the Board’s discretion.

Regulatory compliance: All buy-backs will adhere to the Company’s Articles of Association, Hong Kong Listing Rules, the Codes on Takeovers and Share Buy-backs, and the Companies Act of the Cayman Islands.
