During the second-quarter 2026 earnings media briefing held on September 3, NIO Inc. (09866) founder, chairman, and CEO William Li underscored the strong performance of the Ledo brand, revealing that its average transaction price in the first half of the year reached 248,000 yuan. This figure surpasses traditional luxury marques such as Cadillac and Volvo.

Li emphasized that Ledo was one of the very few brands in the period to achieve simultaneous growth in both sales volume and pricing. He also noted that the Ledo L60 model posted a one-year residual value rate of 74.92%, securing the top position in the pure-electric mid-size SUV segment.

Clarifying the brand's strategic positioning, Li stated: "We are firmly positioned at the higher end of the traditional joint-venture market. In the 200,000-plus price band, there is currently a lack of compelling product offerings." He elaborated that Ledo's focus on being a 'high-quality family vehicle' ensures that "driving it to the office remains a dignified choice."
