Mengniu Dairy Repurchases 0.50 Million Shares for HK $8.99 Million Under Ongoing Buyback Mandate

China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited (Mengniu Dairy) disclosed that on 31 August 2026 it bought back 500,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK $17.97 and HK $17.98 per share, for a volume-weighted average of HK $17.9769. The total consideration amounted to HK $8.99 million.

The repurchased shares, representing 0.0129% of the company’s 3.87 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) before the transaction, are earmarked for cancellation. As cancellation had not yet occurred by the close of 31 August 2026, the official share count remained 3,871,192,513.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 05 June 2026, authorizing Mengniu Dairy to repurchase up to 387.89 million shares. Including the latest transaction, 3.44 million shares—equivalent to 0.089% of the share base at the mandate date—have been repurchased under this authority.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of any treasury shares until 30 September 2026.
