Remixpoint Bets Big on Bitcoin as Primary Asset, Selling Altcoins for $12 Million Profit

Japanese firm Remixpoint is executing an aggressive asset restructuring approach, retaining its substantial Bitcoin position valued at $121 million while simultaneously clearing out significant holdings of other major cryptocurrencies. Data from Woofun AI reveals a detailed profit and loss breakdown across multiple digital assets involved in this strategic shift.

According to the compiled figures, the company liquidated 901.45 Ethereum (ETH) tokens, securing a gain of 60.2 million yuan (approximately $377,000). Furthermore, the sale of 13,920 Solana (SOL) coins yielded a profit of 49.3 million yuan (over $300,000), and the disposal of 1.19 million XRP tokens generated 11.5 million yuan (around $72,000) in revenue. Conversely, the sale of 2.8 million Dogecoin (DOGE) resulted in a loss of 3.3 million yuan (approximately $21,000), highlighting a structural optimization of the firm's portfolio.

The total proceeds from these asset sales reached 878.8 million yuan, yet this capital has not been entirely redirected into increasing Bitcoin holdings. Instead, the funds are flowing toward expanding large-scale battery energy storage operations, strengthening the company's balance sheet, and enhancing shareholder value. Notably, between February 24 and August 31, the firm's Bitcoin holdings grew by an additional 14.92 BTC through its lending operations, adding an estimated 164.2 million yuan in value and achieving passive asset appreciation.

This strategic pivot reflects a broader reevaluation of digital assets' role on corporate balance sheets against a backdrop of weakening market conditions. Corporate cryptocurrency investment teams are undertaking comprehensive strategic reassessments, moving away from pure speculation toward a more robust model that balances cash flow generation with the preservation of core asset value.
