GWMOTOR August Output Climbs While Sales Edge Down 1.9% YoY; NEV Deliveries Hit 0.04 Million Units

Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWMOTOR) reported total vehicle sales of 0.11 million units in August 2026, a year-on-year decline of 1.87%. Aggregate sales for the first eight months reached 0.81 million units, up 1.98% from the same period in 2025.

Production outpaced sales: August output rose 4.53% YoY to 0.12 million units, lifting year-to-date production to 0.85 million units, an 8.76% increase over the prior-year period.

Segment performance • Haval remained the largest contributor with 64,960 units sold (-5.73% YoY); year-to-date sales were 0.45 million units, edging up 0.44%. • WEY sales slid 8.23% YoY to 7,367 units, though cumulative sales improved 13.39% to 0.06 million units. • Great Wall Pick-up volume fell 7.76% YoY to 12,288 units; January–August sales slipped 2.04% to 0.12 million units. • ORA more than doubled its monthly sales to 11,018 units (+110.95% YoY) and more than doubled its year-to-date tally to 0.05 million units (+105.83%). • TANK declined 11.41% YoY to 17,737 units in August and was down 11.19% year-to-date at 0.13 million units.

Strategic growth areas • Overseas markets: August exports reached 0.06 million units, bringing the eight-month total to 0.42 million units. • New-energy vehicles (NEVs): August NEV sales totaled 0.04 million units, with cumulative NEV deliveries of 0.22 million units in 2026.
