Global Digital Creations Holdings Limited (GDC) announced that preliminary unaudited figures indicate interim profit for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will be no less than HK$2.50 million, a sharp decline of approximately 89.6% from the HK$24.03 million recorded in the same period of 2025.

Management attributes the downturn chiefly to the absence of a one-off net gain of about HK$33.95 million booked in the 2025 interim period, which arose from the deconsolidation of discontinued operations at Guangdong Global Digital Creations Industrial Co., Ltd. Excluding this extraordinary item, underlying performance improved: continuing operations are projected to swing from a HK$4.78 million loss in 2025 to a profit of at least HK$2.50 million in 2026.

The disclosed figures are based on unaudited management accounts and remain subject to review by both the audit committee and the independent auditor. GDC plans to release its full interim results in mid-August 2026.
