Morgan Stanley rolls out three new callable warrants linked to Z.AI, Tencent, and ICBC H-shares

On September 4, Morgan Stanley Asia Products Limited filed a supplementary listing document, announcing plans to issue three European-style cash-settled warrants. These instruments, backed by an unconditional and irrevocable guarantee from the bank, are slated for listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

All three warrants are of the call category, with an individual issue price of HK$0.150 per warrant. The launch date is set for September 3, 2026, followed by the issue date on September 7, 2026, and the intended listing date of September 8, 2026.

The first warrant, bearing the security code 17204, will have an issue size of 100,000,000 units. Its underlying asset is the existing H-shares of Z.AI (02513.HK) Huazhang Technology Co., Ltd., which are traded in Hong Kong dollars. The exercise price is set at HK$1,150.000, with an expiry date of April 29, 2027.

The second warrant, with security code 17205, will see an issue volume of 199,000,000 units. This instrument is tied to the existing ordinary shares of Tencent (00700.HK) Holdings Limited, also traded in HKD, carrying an exercise price of HK$476.000 and a maturity date of February 26, 2027.

The third warrant, identified by security code 17206, will have an issue size of 99,000,000 units. Its reference is the existing H-shares of ICBC (01398.HK) Limited, which are exchanged in Hong Kong dollars. The strike price is HK$8.480, with the contract expiring on November 29, 2027.

The issuance of these warrants remains contingent upon securing the necessary listing approval from the exchange.
