Keppel DC REIT (AJBU) said on Aug, 31 2026 that it has fully utilised the 404.5 million Singapore dollars raised from its earlier preferential offering.
Of the proceeds, 231.5 million Singapore dollars were applied to partially fund the purchase of a 98.47% effective interest in a data centre in Inzai City, Japan. A further 38.5 million Singapore dollars went to an asset-enhancement initiative at Keppel DC Singapore 8, while 10.7 million Singapore dollars were used to secure a 30-year land-lease extension for Keppel DC Singapore 1.
The trust spent 53.4 million Singapore dollars to acquire the remaining stakes in Keppel DC Singapore 3 and 4, and allocated 66.2 million Singapore dollars for debt repayment, including borrowings previously drawn for investments. The remaining 4.2 million Singapore dollars covered professional and other expenses related to the preferential offering.
Keppel DC REIT noted that 15.4 million Singapore dollars originally earmarked for the Singapore 8 enhancement and 1.4 million Singapore dollars set aside for offering expenses were reallocated, with 1.7 million Singapore dollars redirected to the Inzai City acquisition and 15.1 million Singapore dollars to debt repayment. All proceeds from the offering are now fully expended, the manager said.
