Jiangsu Yunyi Electric Co., Ltd. (300304.SZ) has announced plans to establish a joint venture aimed at making a forward-looking entry into the solid oxide fuel cell market. The company intends to collaborate with Xuzhou Yunchuang Zhilian Power Technology Partnership (Limited Partnership) and other partners to co-found Jiangsu Yineng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (working title), which will focus on the research, development, production, and sales of solid oxide fuel cell products.
The proposed joint venture is set to have a registered capital of RMB 20 million. Jiangsu Yunyi Electric Co., Ltd. will contribute RMB 4.05 million from its own funds, representing a 20.25% stake in the new entity. This strategic move leverages the company's established expertise in high-temperature co-fired ceramic processes for electrochemical gas sensors and its precision ceramic manufacturing capabilities.
By venturing into this domain, the company aims to achieve a cross-scenario industrial extension of its high-temperature co-fired ceramic manufacturing technology, positioning itself ahead of the curve in the evolving solid oxide fuel cell landscape.
