LianLian Global (02598) saw its shares jump more than 8% in Hong Kong trading, with the stock up 8.29% to HK$3.92 at the time of writing, on a turnover of HK$8.985 million.

According to a recent report from Guotai Haitan, the company's first-half 2026 results showed revenue of RMB 876 million, representing an 11.9% year-on-year increase, while the overall gross margin remained stable at 51.9%. On the expense side, the selling expense ratio, administrative expense ratio, and R&D expense ratio stood at 15.1%, 23.0%, and 13.8% respectively, reflecting improvements of 1.4 percentage points, 15.3 percentage points, and 10.1 percentage points year-on-year, indicating a significant overall cost optimization.

In terms of business operations, the global payment segment generated revenue of RMB 601 million in H1 2026, up 27.1% year-over-year, with total payment volume (TPV) reaching RMB 249.9 billion, an increase of 25.9%. Supported by a comprehensive portfolio of 68 payment licenses and qualifications worldwide, the company's global payment transactions are expected to maintain their growth trajectory moving forward.

Guotai Haitan further noted that LianLian Global is accelerating the implementation of its AI Native strategy. In April 2026, the company unveiled and initiated its "AI Native + Globalization" core development plan, positioning itself for the Agent Payment era. During H1 2026, the company advanced product deployment across three key areas: intelligent payment infrastructure, an AI product suite, and an enterprise-level Agent platform. Additionally, the company has been making strategic investments in AI Native startups and has established collaborations with Visa and UnionPay International in the field of intelligent agent payments.
