Yuk Wing Group Holdings Limited disposed of shares in Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) and China Mobile Limited via open-market transactions, qualifying as disclosable transactions under Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
On 20 July 2026 the company sold 11,200 HKEX shares for HK$4.42 million, following an earlier sale of 2,500 shares on 27 April 2026 for HK$1.03 million. The combined 13,700-share disposal, completed at an average price of HK$397.72, generated total proceeds of HK$5.45 million and an estimated gain of HK$0.94 million. Post-sale, Yuk Wing retains 11,300 HKEX shares, representing about 0.002 % of HKEX’s issued capital.
On the same dates, the group also disposed of 40,000 China Mobile shares for HK$3.22 million after an initial sale of 12,000 shares for HK$1.01 million. The aggregate 52,000-share sale, transacted at an average price of HK$81.30, brought in HK$4.23 million and an estimated gain of HK$1.58 million. The group continues to hold 48,000 China Mobile shares, or roughly 0.0005 % of the telecom operator’s issued capital.
Total proceeds from both disposals amount to HK$9.68 million, while combined gains reach approximately HK$2.52 million. Yuk Wing plans to apply the cash to general working capital and part of the consideration for acquiring a 65 % equity stake in a target company announced on 12 June 2026.
Because each series of sales occurred within a 12-month window and one of the applicable percentage ratios exceeds 5 % but is below 25 %, the transactions are subject to announcement but exempt from shareholder approval.
Yuk Wing Group is principally engaged in manufacturing and trading down-the-hole rock-drilling tools, piling and drilling machinery, and related equipment. The group originally purchased the HKEX and China Mobile shares as a treasury investment to enhance returns on surplus cash.
