Wynn Macau Limited Announces 2026 Interim Results: Net Profit Jumps to HK$1.55 Billion on 14% Revenue Growth

Wynn Macau Limited released its 2026 interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2026, highlighting strong mass-market momentum and improved profitability across its Macau resorts Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau.

Financial Performance • Operating revenue rose 14.4% year on year to HK$15.59 billion, driven by a 17.3% gain in casino revenue to HK$13.35 billion. • Adjusted EBITDA increased 14.7% to HK$3.98 billion. • Net profit attributable to shareholders surged 570.5% to HK$1.55 billion, lifting basic EPS to HK$0.30 (1H 2025: HK$0.04). • Operating costs grew 13.3% to HK$13.16 billion; finance costs edged up 4.2% to HK$1.48 billion. • A HK$691.04 million fair-value gain on derivatives, mainly from the WML Convertible Bond conversion option and FX swaps, contrasted with a HK$177.31 million loss a year earlier.

Gaming Metrics • VIP table win declined 14.6% to HK$1.80 billion on lower turnover. • Mass-market table win climbed 19.9% to HK$13.11 billion as table drop rose 12.6%. • Slot machine win advanced 32.8% to HK$1.15 billion.

Liquidity and Capital Position • Cash and cash equivalents stood at HK$7.41 billion, with short-term investments of HK$4.14 billion and HK$10.56 billion of undrawn revolver capacity. • Gross debt totalled HK$45.82 billion; net debt was HK$39.80 billion, producing a gearing ratio of 148.9%. • All covenants under the WM Cayman II revolving facility and WML senior notes were in compliance.

Expansion and Capex • Next phase of Wynn Palace—“The Enclave,” a 432-suite tower plus theatre and event space—is budgeted at US$900–950 million (HK$7.00–7.50 billion). Construction is slated to begin in 2H 2026 with a 2.5-year schedule. • Total project and enhancement outlays are projected at HK$2.70–3.20 billion for 2026 and HK$5.80–6.30 billion for 2027. • WRM remains committed to invest MOP21.03 billion (HK$20.42 billion) over its 10-year gaming concession, with MOP19.80 billion (HK$19.22 billion) earmarked for non-gaming initiatives.

Dividends • A final dividend of HK$0.223 per share (HK$1.17 billion) for FY 2025 was paid on 16 June 2026. • The Board declared an interim dividend of HK$0.223 per share, payable on 24 September 2026.

Outlook Management will continue to pursue the premium-segment strategy, advance non-gaming investments mandated under the 10-year concession, and maintain a disciplined capital structure while developing The Enclave to enhance Wynn Palace’s competitive position in Cotai.
