Speaking at the 2026 Yabuli Forum Summer Annual Meeting held in Chengdu, Sichuan from September 4-6, Shen Jie, Chairman of Zhongneng Guanghe, highlighted that the company's most favorable growth environment lies precisely in sectors that remain heavily traditional and lack digitalization and AI adoption.

She explained that Zhongneng Guanghe's core business focuses on guiding traditional energy enterprises through their digital and AI-driven transformation journeys. Notably, she shared that while China currently has approximately 120,000 gas stations nationwide, the company has already established its operational footprint across more than 30,000 of them, spanning over 20 provinces.

Regarding the company's specific transformation strategies, Shen Jie outlined three key priorities: first, initiating digital upgrades at the most conventional state-owned gas stations; second, evolving single-function stations into integrated comprehensive energy hubs that combine oil, solar, electricity, storage, and hydrogen capabilities; and third, replacing the traditional model of manual refueling by station attendants operating 24/7 in flammable environments with automated robotic refueling systems, which will eventually align with autonomous driving technology.

Shen Jie also revealed that her team is actively leveraging internet methodologies, product-oriented thinking, and AI technology to accelerate the transformation of traditional energy enterprises. She emphasized that the company is wholeheartedly embracing AI, digital workers, and all cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement tools, consistently adhering to the principle that technology serves as the ultimate foundation for progress.
