On May 22, Alphamab Biopharmaceuticals announced that the Phase III clinical study (Study No.: KN035-CN-017) for Envafolimab® (Envafolimab Injection, Alphamab R&D Code: KN035) as neoadjuvant/adjuvant therapy for resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has completed full patient enrollment. This milestone signifies important progress for Envafolimab® in the field of perioperative treatment for early-stage lung cancer, potentially offering patients a more convenient and safer new subcutaneous immunotherapy option.
Currently, Envafolimab® has several other clinical studies underway to further expand its indications. The new drug application for its use in combination with gemcitabine and oxaliplatin (GEMOX) as a first-line treatment for unresectable or metastatic biliary tract cancer has been accepted for review by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
