FIH Mobile Limited completed an on-market buyback of 55,000 ordinary shares on 1 September 2026. The transaction was executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 16.50 to HKD 16.57 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 16.51. Total consideration amounted to approximately HKD 0.91 million.
Following the repurchase, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell marginally by 0.007 percent to 781.21 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 7.24 million. The total number of issued shares remains unchanged at 788.45 million, as the repurchased stock is being held in treasury rather than cancelled.
The buyback forms part of the mandate approved on 22 May 2026, which authorises FIH Mobile to repurchase up to 78.27 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has bought back 2.17 million shares under this mandate—equivalent to 0.28 percent of the issued shares as at the mandate date.
A moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares is in effect until 1 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong listing rules governing post-repurchase activity.
