Bama Tea Co., Ltd. disclosed a share repurchase on 27 August 2026 that reduced its outstanding H-share count by 138,500, or 0.16 %, to 84.58 million shares. The company acquired the stock on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 29.72 to HKD 30.82, paying a total of HKD 4.24 million and a volume-weighted average price of HKD 30.62 per share.
The transaction lifted Bama Tea’s treasury-share balance to 342,300, up from 203,800 previously. All repurchased shares have been classified as treasury shares; none have yet been cancelled.
The buyback was executed under a mandate approved by shareholders on 21 April 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 5.30 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 342,300 shares, equivalent to 0.65 % of the company’s issued H-share capital on the mandate date.
Pursuant to Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Bama Tea is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 26 September 2026.
