EDA Group Completes Dispatch of Major Transaction Circular Ahead of Waiver Deadline

EDA Group Holdings Limited confirmed that its circular relating to the previously announced major lease transaction was dispatched to shareholders on 21 August 2026.

The company had earlier sought additional time to finalise details for inclusion in the document and therefore applied for, and on 18 August 2026 obtained, a waiver from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong under Listing Rule 14.41(a). The waiver required the circular to be sent no later than 24 August 2026.

With the 21 August 2026 dispatch date, EDA Group met the stipulated deadline three days in advance, bringing the disclosure process for the lease agreement to conclusion.

The board continues to comprise nine directors: three executive directors (Chairman Liu Yong, Li Qin and Cheung Man Yu), two non-executive directors (Zuo Manlun and Luo Jianfeng) and four independent non-executive directors (Ng Cheuk Him, Wong Ping Yee Natalis, Huang Risheng and Zhan Linkun).
