Beijing Shougang LanzaTech Technology Co., Ltd. (Shougang LanzaTech) has notified its non-registered shareholders that, with effect from 31 August 2026, the company will implement a fully electronic distribution model for all future corporate communications.
The move follows amendments to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules that came into force on 31 December 2023, requiring listed issuers to prioritise electronic dissemination. Key points include:
• Distribution Channel: All English and Chinese versions of corporate communications—including annual and interim reports, circulars, meeting notices, and other shareholder documents—will be posted exclusively on Shougang LanzaTech’s website (www.bjsglt.com) and on HKEX’s website (www.hkexnews.hk).
• Discontinuation of Physical Mailings: Printed copies will no longer be routinely dispatched. Shareholders wishing to continue receiving hard copies must submit a written Request Form to the company’s Hong Kong H-share registrar, Tricor Investor Services Limited, or email 2553-ecom@vistra.com. Each request remains valid until the end of the company’s next financial year unless revoked earlier.
• Notification Mechanism: The company will not issue physical notices alerting shareholders when documents are uploaded online. Stakeholders are encouraged to monitor the company’s and HKEX’s websites or subscribe to HKEX’s free “News Alert” service for updates.
• Actionable Communications: Shareholders who hold shares via intermediaries (banks, brokers, custodians or HKSCC Nominees) must coordinate directly with those parties and provide email details if they wish to receive actionable corporate communications—documents requiring shareholder instructions, such as dividend election forms or rights-issue applications.
• Support Channels: Enquiries can be directed to Tricor Investor Services via telephone at (+852) 2980 1333 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00, excluding public holidays) or by email to 2553-ecom@vistra.com.
The announcement, signed by Executive Director and General Manager Ms. Dong Yan on behalf of the Board, underscores Shougang LanzaTech’s commitment to align with HKEX’s sustainability and digital transformation initiatives while offering shareholders optional access to printed materials upon request.
