BOC International has released a research report indicating that SD GOLD (01787) recorded a net profit of approximately RMB 3.5 billion for the first half of 2026, marking a year-on-year increase of 26%. This figure surpassed the bank's expectations by 33%, primarily attributed to lower-than-anticipated unit costs.

Consequently, the institution has maintained its "Buy" rating while slightly revising the target price upward from HK$39.99 to HK$40.36. Looking ahead, the bank projects a 23% sequential decline in earnings for the second half of the year, driven by falling gold prices and rising operational costs.
