ARTA TECHFIN Shareholder Transfers HK$63.47 Million Worth of Shares from HSBC to KGI Asia

On April 30, a shareholder of ARTA TECHFIN (00279) transferred shares from Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation to KGI Asia, with a transfer value of HK$63.47 million, accounting for 7.46% of the holdings. ARTA TECHFIN announced that on April 29, 2026, all conditions under the placement agreement were fulfilled, and the placement was completed. A total of 123 million placement shares were successfully allocated to no fewer than six independent placees at a price of HK$0.490 per share. The gross proceeds from the placement amounted to approximately HK$60.30 million, with net proceeds (after deducting expenses) of about HK$59.80 million. The company plans to use the net proceeds as follows: approximately 50.2% for repaying shareholder loans and related costs; about 40.2% for the group's ongoing business development and enhancement of existing operations; and around 9.6% for general working capital and corporate purposes.
