Maritana Minerals Advances Early Works, Final Permits for Western Australia Processing Hub

Maritana Minerals (ASX:MRT) advanced early works and final approvals for the Black Swan processing hub in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The clearing permit for the carbon-in-leach earthworks is on track through the final approval process, with the key mine development closure plan and works approval milestones in place, the filing said.
Clearing and demolition works are also in progress in the primary crushing area ahead of refurbishment and construction.
The company anticipates first gold production in the second half of 2027, per the filing.
