XPeng (XPEV) said Tuesday it has delivered 39,107 vehicles in August, up 4% from a year earlier.
The company introduced the G9L model and opened pre-sales in China. It also won a permit in August to test autonomous vehicles without safety drivers on designated routes in Guangzhou, the company said.
Electric vehicles delivered through August 2026 are expected to cut lifetime greenhouse gas emissions by over 3.72 million tons compared with traditional gas-powered cars, XPeng said.
