Baidu's (BIDU) artificial intelligence margins could reach that of the company's search business in the near term, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing an interview with Baidu Chief Financial Officer Henry He.
He said the company's AI revenue now constitutes more than half of the group's sales and that he expects this trend to continue, according to Bloomberg. Baidu could see a full return of its investments in new GPU clusters hosting AI services in two to three years, He told the news outlet.
Baidu did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
