Canara Bank Board OKs Up to $2 Billion Foreign Currency Bond Issue

Canara Bank's (NSE:CANBK, BOM:532483) board approved raising up to $2 billion through senior unsecured foreign currency bonds in international markets, according to a Thursday filing.

The issuance will be made under the bank's existing $3 billion medium‑term note program, via its GIFT City branch in Gandhinagar or another overseas branch, the filing showed.
