TerraCom Maintains Fiscal 2027 Production Guidance Despite Queensland Mine Challenges

TerraCom (ASX:TER) said production at its Blair Athol Mine in Queensland remains below plan early in fiscal 2027 due to workforce shortages and illness, equipment availability, water management issues, and lower coal preparation plant yields, according to an Australian bourse filing on Monday after market hours.

The company has maintained its fiscal 2027 production guidance of 2 million to 2.2 million tonnes, supported by new mining equipment, a new pit, and other productivity initiatives, per the filing.

The company is currently debt-free excluding leases, but lower production has delayed coal deliveries and reduced sales, tightening near-term working capital, the filing said.

The company is advancing a coal prepayment facility, cost cuts, and other capital measures while exploring further funding options to strengthen liquidity and its balance sheet, the filing added.
