Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin has hired at least 47 employees from Amazon.com's (AMZN) Leo satellite venture over the past year, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing a review of LinkedIn postings.
Most of the new hires are working on TeraWave, Blue Origin's satellite communications project, the report said.
The recruits include engineers with expertise in satellite testing, networking, avionics, radio communications, optical systems, and software. Bloomberg reported that TeraWave's director of recruiting and at least two vice presidents also joined the project from Amazon Leo since March.
Amazon and Blue Origin did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
